D
ear Family ACI and SistersWe send a warm and fraternal greetings on this Feast of our Holy Mother Maria Rafaela.
She tells us"The love that Christ communicates to us in the Eucharist impels us to be raised in the world of brotherhood ... beyond the bonds of blood, nationality and culture."
Imbued with these feelings let us ask the Lord that, like her, we ferment of fraternity and justice in the various places where we live.

International Commission of the ACI Family

Dear ACI Family, dear Sisters:
Happy Day of the ACI Family! As a gift on this special day, we announce that it is already in the web the site of the ACI Family:
We are beginning it, and we have a lot to complete. We wanted to let you know about it today, in the Day of the ACI Family. We encourage you to visit it and send material: news, prayers, formation, photos ... from each group and place.

We are also including the ACI Family logo, which can be seen on the website. Of all the proposals received, since the First Assembly of the ACI Family (Rome, 2009), this one has been chosen, because it is simple and adequate. The author, Carmen Saenz, from Chile, has adapted it according to the technique and design needs.

We thank all who made a financial contribution to cover the cost of the website design and hosting. If you want to send us your contribution, you can make it through the Sisters in charge of economy at each Province. Thank you very much!
We are sure the website will help us to be in touch and very close.Saint Raphaela Mary bless us all !!!
With love,International Commission of the ACI Family

January 30, 2012   To the ACI Family members

Dear all:  Today I want to send this e-mail to ask for your prayers for the General Congregation XIX, that will start on February 2, Feast of the Presentation of the Lord.  It will take place in our house of XX Settembre, Roma, where the incorrupt body of Saint Raphaela Mary is. 53 Handmaids will participate, representing all the Institute; we will discuss some matters and issues, important for our life and mission.

I thank your greeting on the 125 years of the final Church approval of the Institute. I also thank you for all the messages you send. I always read them with interest and with sadness for not being able to answer due to lack of time. I hope to write more when the General Congregation ends.

On March 2 we will especially remember all of you in front of the Saint.

         Kind regards,  Inmaculada Fukasawa aci

New Year 2012
“With all my heart I ask Our Lord
to bless you in this new year with both hands,
and may you return His gifts
by doing many good works
which are pleasing to Him.”
(St.  Raphaela Mary -  January 1, 1924)

Christmas 2011
“The lovely season is approaching,
let us pray that the Child Jesus
may truly be born in our hearts.”
(St. Raphaela Mary – November 29, 1903)

Dear ACI Family,
Attached below  (Saludo-SCJesús-2011.doc) is a lovely message to us all sent from the ACI International Commission yesterday.
What a beautiful day of celebration for all of us.
It is in particular a special day for all of us to give thanks for all that the Sisters do and for what they are.
God Bless them and their mission.

PENTECOST

«When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed

to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit…»  (Hch. 2, 1-4)

 Dear ACI Family, dear

Sisters:    We c

elebrate this day the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles. It is the Spirit proclaimed by Jesus, present and active in us, guiding our steps and making us strong.

Let us ask for the grace to be attentive to this presence of the Spirit and to be aware of his actual performance in us, so that our life is animated by Him, to do spring from our heart the best of our inner life. May Him help us be strong and courageous to proclaim with our lives loyalty, service, solidarity, justice, joy, commitment to the poor, freedom, hope, love and unity.

With love,   INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION OF THE ACI FAMILY     June 12, 2011

So we can be assured that she will be very close to us all  in the ACI Family today and uniting us in prayer. We prayer for all the intentions of those members of our family - those with health issues, those with special celebrations, those with worries about loved ones. St Raphaela Mary - pray for us.

Christmas Greetings from Vietnam

Dear ACI Family
Firstly, many thanks to all who contributed to the cake sale/mini market on Sunday by providing cakes etc. or helping
on the day. Altogether we raised £226 for Handmaid Charities. Well worth doing, wasn't it. There was also a
lovely atmosphere in the coffee room and everyone present was pleased to take a copy  of 'Mission News' home,
so awareness is growing. We will be sending this to Sister Maria Alonso in Ireland who visited us last year and is
in charge of Mission News.

Looking ahead, the ACI Family meeting this month is on Monday 27th December, and will therefore be less
formal, taking the form of Adoration and simple coffee celebration morning.

The Commission of the ACI Family has recently asked us to discuss as a group some topics and report our
considered comments to them - before the end of 2010, so it would be good to have an extra meeting on the 3rd
January when we can do this, and then forward our replies to the Commission just a few days late .
I am informing them of the delay with reasons!!

First Friday Adoration will be on Friday 7th January 2pm - 5 pm.

In the meantime - just a wish that your Christmas be blessed in abundance with peace, joy and love.
St. Raphaela Mary will be interceding for us and sharing it all with us.

21st November 2010

Dear ACI Family and Sisters:

We attach the greeting for the feast of Christ the King.

ACI Family International Commission.

(See attachment 6 at the bottom of the page)

August 2010
Thank you to all those who donate unwanted glasses to the ACI to be reused and "re-loved" by people in Africa.

Sister Rosi Garcia from the Mission in the Cameroon  sent this photo of Sister Serge testing the glasses which the parishioners from our local churches kindly donated.

If you have any spectacles/glasses that you no longer use, they can be left in the porch of Corpus Christi Church - please make sure that you indicate that they are for the ACI family.
(otherwise we will think they have been lost by a parishioner!!!)

An Old Cradle Song
Sleep, my babe, lie still and slumber,
All through the night
Guardian angels God will lend thee,
All through the night
Soft and drowsy hours are creeping,
Hill and vale in slumber sleeping,
Mother dear her watch is keeping,
All through the night
God is here, you'll not be lonely,
All through the night
'Tis not I who guards thee only,
All through the night
Night's dark shades will soon be over,
Still my watchful care shall hover,
God with me His watch is keeping,
All through the night

Remembered Joy
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free!
I follow the plan God laid for me.
I saw His face, I heard His call,
I took His hand and left it all...
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss...
Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss.
My life's been full, I've savoured much:
Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief—
Don't shorten yours with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,
Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.
